Until today, with Mac OS X, giving a tag to a Finder item just drew - at best - a small coloured dot, near the item's name. Using Hue Dada ! the entire icon of the item can literally reflect the tag color.

* Technically secure, the application automatically gives custom icons to items as the user would manually, through the Information pane and a graphical editor. Hue Dada ! respects the Apple policies regarding sandboxed applications, only using documented and safe methods.
* Algorithmically efficient, the application bans any unnecessary polling operation, relying only on Grand Central Dispatch triggers, ensuring best energy usage on MacBooks. Hue Dada ! transfers its heavy operations on background threads, keeping the user experience as fluid as can be.

* Graphically clever, the application respects the original design of color distribution for 'standard' icons, just adapting the color hue. Hence its name. Documents with previews are processed differently: images are monochromised, and texts are just colorised - always according to the tag color.
